Full Metal Jacket Scene?

joker is military reporter. obviously hes been in combat zone though not exactly shooting at the enemy. so when he said ' yes ive seen combat on tv ' hes basically saying to the other guys that theyre stupid if they think he hasnt seen actual combat or been shot at. combat troops medics reporters civilians and everyone in a combat zone is a target and joker is saying those guys are full of themselves for thinking theyre better than others. the marines hes talking to are implying that that he ( joker ) is a coward or afraid of combat for choosing media and joker in replying is implying that theyre stupid,
