What are the drug laws in Mexico?

I have heard that you can be caught with marijuana, cocaine, heroin, and some other drugs and not be violating any law if it is "for personal use." I was curious if this was true and if so how much of each drug is considered personal use?

Ever heard the term "Don't speak ill of the dead"? There is no point in being rude and saying bad things about someone when they are already dead. At that point, all you would be doing is hurting the feelings of those who really did love them. Usually, people will be respectful of someone who recently died, even if they didn't necessarily deserve respect. If it makes you feel better, once the time for mourning has passed, I'm sure they will speak of the person in bad way again. People only feign respect for so long.

Why are some drugs illegal ? why are drugs illegal in general ?

i understand some drugs like coke meth heroin are bad for you but some drugs like weed acid dmt arent. and either way why should anyone tell me what i can put in MY body or not ? i understand that yes maybe there would be alot more drugys but im not saying that you should be in the street druging yourself but if im in my house i know what im doing whos the goverment to stop me ? you can still have rehab and stuff but still this is the land of the free right ? so let people who want to do drugs let do drugs
